Barrenjoey

Not quite a bridge but close to it and that is just for a driveway. Two abutments and a centre pier of reinforced concrete blocks with Bondek slabs to construct a new driveway to a property in Ormeau Hills. This project includes earthworks, two ponds, and a raised access for 1% AEP immunity. All done without any tree removal and to create an aesthetic finish that will be posted in a few weeks.

Lockyer Valley

Exciting progress at the 39-lot rural residential development in Lockyer Valley! Legend Consultants is proud to provide civil engineering services for this project, including water reticulation design and TMR intersection approvals. The construction phase is well underway, with erosion and sediment controls in place, bulk earthworks progressing smoothly, and stormwater infrastructure being constructed.

Exciting progress on the construction of a mine haul road designed by Legend Consultants! The project team is tackling steep and challenging terrain on the side of a hill where the rock is at surface in most places. The scale and workmanship being put into this road are truly exceptional. It's a testament to the dedication and expertise of everyone involved. Including blasting and streamlined excavation moving 8000m3 a day at times.

Wolffdene Causeway Culvert

A simple project for a larger effect, the extension of an existing causeway box culvert to expand a mine haul road from a single to a dual lane carriageway and improve internal mine dump truck movements within the quarry. The culverts support the load of 7m of fill along with the mine traffic loads, with hydraulic capacity for the flood flows from the onsite clean water mine dam.

Pelican Parade

The recent days of rain provided a well timed opportunity to check the functioning of some of our stormwater designs. At 16 Pelican Parade while it was raining there was no ponding on the earthworks or the 80m+ long driveway. The whole site's stormwater is captured on the driveway and adjacent inlet pits into the infiltration tank below the driveway.
